This is my first card that I have made using copic markers. I love all the beautiful colors that copics come in, but it takes lots of practice to get the hang of them. Blending sure is not as easy as it is with Prismacolor pencils!!
The rumor is that the perfect ink for stamping images that you are going to be coloring with copics is....Memento black ink. I looked at my LSS because I wanted to get started so badly, and all they had was the Memento in Rich cocoa - so I bought it anyways. I think that it actually makes my image look softer....so I love it!!
The main image on my card is done with a wonderful Whiff of Joy stamp made by Elisabeth Bell.
I am a huge fan of Elisabeth Bell's amazing images..and I just found out that I won a beautiful print from Elisabeth's blog...I'm so excited, I can't wait to see it!!

Adorable card, Trina!! You did a superb job with the Copics. BTW, I use Adirondack ink ~~ you have to let it dry (or heat set it) but it won't smear either ~~ just in case you can't find the Memento you're looking for :)

Trina..this is absolutely beautiful. The colors and your coloring are perfect and all of the paper goes so well together. I wish I had one ounce of your talent in my pinkie!! So how do you like the copics? I have 37 or 38 of them and seem to have problems blending. I learned the pencil and gamsol method after I had invested in the markers and right now that is my medium of choice. If they work for you maybe you can give me a few pointers on how to use them better.
p.s. I sent your package out to yesterday so you should have it this week.
