Lily & Milo - for you card!!

I just got some of the wonderful Lily & Milo stamps last week, and couldn't wait to play with them!! I got mine from Sweet'n Sassy Stamps and then found out that I could also get them here at 7kids college fund. If you haven't bought some yet, you should go over there and take a look. These are great sites and offer great service!
I think that my card will work for the great new challenge blog that just got started. It is called a spoon full of sugar, and here is the link to the site.

The image was colored with prismacolor pencils and OMS.
Stamps: Lily & Milo - for you, CTMH for every occasion
Paper: georgia pacific CS, MME Magnolia dp, K&Company dp, Imagine that textured cardstock
Inks: SU certainly celery, Dew drop brilliance in pearlescent lavender
Accessories: May arts ribbon, Making Memories brads, Gelly Roll white gel pen, charm from Dollarama.

This card was so much fun to color, so I sure hope you like it!!

Have a great week!

Birthday card

Hello there!
I made this card over the weekend for the Ismaki challenge #20.
The main image is from a new Penny Black Clear Stamp set called "Critter Party". The sentiment is from Hero Arts - Birthday Messages.
Paper is from Imagine that, and K&Company - designer mat pad. Flowers are primas. Coloring was done with primacolor pencils and OMS.

For the circle.... the largest base is from tracing around an old CD. The next one is the largest coluzzle template, and the rest are from a set of nestibilities that I have.

Thanks again for all your wonderful comments. I sure love getting them!!

Card for my blog candy winner!

I made this card for Jill, who was the winner of my blog candy. I wasn't going to show anyone the card until she got it, and I got word last night, that it has now made it's way to her.

I again used an image from my blogger friend Kristine. (Hey Kristine, can you tell that this is my favorite image?? :-) )
I colored the duck in with prismacolor pencils and OMS, used a gel pen around the image for the dots. Those little flower embellishments are from a hero arts stamp set, and the other flowers are from Prima. Ribbon is May Arts, and the paper....I honestly am not sure...some is from Imagine that, other from K & Company, and the rest is just some random dp from my stock.

I am very glad that this blog has helped me to find some great friends! You guys are all wonderful, and even though I don't have time to get to your blogs everyday, know that sometimes I get just a second, and do take a look, because there is nothing at all that I like better but to get inspiration from all of you!!

Now I'm off, I have been baking up a storm this week for a Relay for Life fundraiser. The place I work...Southern Plains Co-op...is actually having a team this year, but we need to do some major fundraising, so I hope we get some good attendance today. Also, it is starting to look like rain, so I have my fingers crossed. (I'll let you know how everything turns out!!)

Thanks for visiting my blog!!

Mother's day card

One of my co-workers asked me to make a mother's day card for her Mom. So, I got her mother's day card done, but didn't get one done for my own Mom. Sorry Mom!! I guess that means I will have to make you something better then a card!!
I made this card with one of my old retired SU stamp sets, called Petal Prints. I then used my awesome nestabilities for the scallops and oval, and the cuttlebug for the purple cardstock. The colored cardstock is from Bazzil Basics, flowers are Prima's, ribbon is from May Arts.

Hopefully I will be back in a few days with a new card made with my new Rachelle Anne Miller stamps, because I just received 2 of her designs from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps in the USA. Their service was unbelievable, and I even got a homemade card with my order!! I would definitely recommend them to anybody!!

Have a great day!

By the way, don't forget to check out my Mom's blog for her fabulous candy too!!

Good Luck!!

Finally my Mom's Birthday Card!!

I've wanted to post this card for a while now, but I had to wait until my Mom received her card...cause as I'm sure you already know, Mom is one of my most faithful blog commenters!!
That would have royally ruined the surprise, don't you think!!
I have never made a tag on a card...thought I would try something different, and I kind of like how this turned out!!
Stamps: Magnolia, SU rough edges mini alphabet, Hero Arts birthday messages.
Inks: Versafine black, SU chocolate chip, Versamagic Jumbo Java, prismacolor pencils and OMS
Paper: Georgia Pacific cardstock, My Minds Eye designer paper, Bazzil cardstock, SU black marker
Accessories: SU love & happiness rub ons, Karen Foster rub bits - mother, prima flowers, may arts ribbon, SU ribbon, brad
Techniques: distressing, faux stitching

And the best news is that my Mom loved her card!! I usually like to try something a little different on her cards, because she has made them all too!!

I just wanted to say thank you all again, for all your kind comments on the above post. I love to see that some of you have actually checked out my blog, and maybe even like it!! Ya all make me feel so special.

Don't forget to come back for my blog candy draw, on the evening of May 12th!!

More chickens!!

I have another quick chicken card for you too see!! I am always in need of cards that I can use for either guys or gals. This one really fits the bill.
For this card I again borrowed my Mom's penny black stamp. Used the cuttlebug on the blue cardstock. Colored image in with prismacolor pencils and OMS. And I paper pierced the red cardstock.

Be back soon with the Magnolia card that I gave my Mom for her birthday. Now I'm off to make her a Mother's Day card!!

Don't forget to enter for my blog candy in the above post. And thank you everyone for your kind comments. I haven't made it to all the blogs to comment yet, but I will!!
