Late halloween cards!!

I know it's a couple of days past halloween, but this is the first chance I got to take some pictures. I wish I had more room and a brighter craft room, so picture taking would be easier. It always seems to be a big process so I don't take pics very often. Unfortunately that means that sometimes you have to wait to see the cards too! Sorry about that....I will try to get better!!

These first 2 cards were made using digital images from C.C. Designs which I bought from All That Scraps. I wish I could buy digital images from everyone. They are fantastic!! So easy to print off and use....no waiting for the stamps to come in the mail and cheaper too! Go and check it out! On the second card, I used Basic Grey Eerie paper and I use the same paper on the below card too!
I saw these amazing flowers on Inge's blog and just had to make them. She said that she got demo from StampARTic. Go and check out Inge's wonderful blog, and if you like the flowers, I've posted StampARTic's link too!! Image is from Motivet and is called Doraline riding a broom.

This last card has images from Magnolia halloween collection 2008 and Stampin' Up Batty for you! I'm not sure where I got the paper from, I think it was a fall stack I bought at Joann's last year.
I have some christmas cards that I took pictures of too, so hopefully I will get those edited and posted in the next couple of days.
Have a wonderful day...and thanks for the amazing comments everyone!!

Would you like to see some cards?

Hi Everyone,
I know I have been MIA for quite a while now, but there has been alot going on in my life! Sometimes I don't even get a second to look at the computer. I do have some cards for you to take a look at! I decided to post most of what I have right now, becuase some of them are getting so old, that it took me forever to figure out if I posted them already or not!

Three of these card feature images from Magnolia, and the other is a Gorjuss girl image. If you have any questions on any of these cards, feel free to leave a comment in the comment section, or email me.

Thank you to all of you who leave me regular comments....You are the best!!

Another gorjuss birthday card!

I just love gorjuss girls!! They make the prettiest cards!!

Hello everyone!

It's been a while since my last post again. Just don't have as much time as I used too. My life seems to revolve around my work right now.

For this card I used a gorjuss girl as the main image. The papers are from bazill and K&Company. Swirls are cut with a die and my cuttlebug. Also prima flowers, martha stewart punched leaves and greenery. And the dew drops are from Stamping Bella.

Have a great Monday! And thanks for the awesome comments!

My first Motivet card

Meet Shy Hilda. She is one of the new images from Motivet. Isn't she cute? I think she works well with so many sayings that I will have to make another card with her soon!!

While I was on holidays, I was able to spend some stamping time with my Mom, and all of the Motivet images were so cute, that I just had to stamp a couple when she wasn't looking!! lol!!

Stamps: Motivet - shy hilda, Hero arts - all occasion, Paper: Bazill cs, georgia pacific cs, MME playful posies, Ink: Memento black, copic markers, prismacolor pencils, twinkling h2o's, SU only orange, Accessories: prima flowers, may arts ribbon, glitter brad from collection, SU silver cord. I did lots of distressing with my SU distressing tool -love that tool!!

Now, I am off to go and work in my craft room. Really would love to make a card today, but I'm not sure how long I will make it, because I got together with a great friend last night, and we had a True Blood marathon till 5 am!! It was so much fun!!

Enjoy your weekend and thanks for the great comments!!

Just because

Hello friends!

Today I have a card that I made a couple of weeks ago. I just love this image and wish I had more time to make cards sometimes!! Sure would be use to use every image that I own at least once, wouldn't it??

Sorry for being the slowest poster ever.... I wish there were more hours in a day sometimes.

I think I colored this image with copics as the base and then prismacolor pencils. I've been looking at some wonderful copic tutorials lately, but really like the depth I get with this technique, plus every image I have colored with only copics, has looked kind of scary!!

Have a wonderful weekend!! And thanks for the amazing comments. You guys are the best!!

Holidays and Thank you!

Hello again,

I just want to say thank you to all of you who have wished my friend and her husband well. It's always amazing to see how caring everyone is!!

On to another subject....I am on holidays!! I have all of this week off!! I just got back from visiting my Mom, Ila, and now I am hoping to get some cards done this week. (Just to let you guys know, I had the best intentions of posting this card earlier but forgot all about it, I actually have to go back to work tomorrow, but I did get some cards finished and am going to attempt to get some pictures taken of them today!!)

Yesterday I went down to Minot with my Mom, Dad and husband....and I picked up some amazing new paper at Joann's Fabrics! I have a Indian summer stack, rustic stack, doodle stack, crafty stack, etc. --Woo Hoo!! I can't wait to start playing with all my new papers!!

I colored this card a while ago, but it took forever to make into a card. I love looking for flower charms (bead spacers), cause I think they are soooo pretty!! I'm not sure what kind of papers these were, they were mostly scraps I found laying around that I thought I should use!!

Have a wonderful day!!

My first tent card and some sad news

The last couple of days have been pretty sad around here. I've made some amazing friends since I moved to Estevan, and the friends that I'm closest to, had a huge death in the family yesterday. My friends Dad was out farming and a bale of hay fell on him and crushed him, killing him. I am in total shock, and just don't feel like we can do enough for this wonderful family. I've been thinking about how I would feel if I lost one of my parents, and I can't even bear to think about it. I can't even imagine what they must be going through, because this is going to change their whole life, now they may have to sell their house in town and move out to the farm, so they can take care of the farm, because there is no one else who can. I can't believe how a persons life can change in minutes!!!
I know that my husband and I will be praying for strength for this young family, and we know that God will guide them in the very difficult decisions they are going to have to make.

Now on to something happier!
After watching my amazing Mother make tent card after tent card, I thought that maybe I should try it out! This card was so easy to do!
Stamps: Magnolia, Hero arts
Ink: Versafine black, Memento black, SU old olive
Paper: Georgia pacific, SU, MME just dreamy
Accessories: may arts ribbon, metal dots from Hobby lobby, prima flowers

Wishing you a great day.

I absolutely love sunflower tilda, and I hope you do to! If you are looking for a place to purchase her, here are three locations that I know about!
The first is directly from Magnolia, the second is Magnolia-licious in the US, and the third is a new shop located in Canada, called Little Stamp Shoppe.I already posted these cards on my new Magnolia blog, and thought I should post them here as well.

I hope you like them!!

I'm back!!!

Hello everyone,

I have been missing for so long!! My Mom actually phoned me today, and asked when I was going to post, so I thought I better get one up. I do have a few cards to share and hopefully you will get to see them all in the next couple of weeks.

This first card I gave to my Mom for Mother's Day. And the second card I made for her for her birthday in May. If you need any details on either of these cards please email me.

Have a great week!

Quick post again!

Hello girls!
Sorry that i've been MIA so long again. I have tons of stuff going on right now!!
Here's a fun card that I made in March....that I almost forgot to post. The image I bought at Funky Kits and is a Leanne Ellis design. I did the coloring with prismacolor pencils and a bit of copics.
In other news.....we bought a couch and loveseat last weekend! They are leather, and recline on both sides of both pieces. I have hardly seen my husband get off the couch since we bought it! We also bought a 46 inch TV and a beautiful tv stand. Now if I could just get my hubby to finish the windows in the living room.....then that room would be finished!!

Well, now I am off to bed...gotta get up in 6 hours!!
Have a great week!!

Happy Easter

I was hoping to post this card when visiting my Mom & Dad this weekend...but with all the Easter meals we got way too busy! I did get to color some images with Mom last week...and we had a great supper on Saturday...and for the meal....I made the perogies. This was the first time I made perogies myself...usually I just cook them for Mom cause all of mine break! But they turned out good...and I think everyone liked them!
Then on Sunday we had brunch at my in-laws house....and that was great too! We had a wonderful time and some great breakfast food....including cream cheese french toast and cinnamon pull aparts. I was in heaven!!

I just got home and still have to finish unpacking...but I didn't want to unpack till I got this card posted.

This is one more of the cute High Hopes images that were released a couple of months ago. If you have any other questions about this card....I would be very glad to help you out!

I'm off to unpack and then bed...

Have a great day!!

You make me smile

This card was supposed to be for the High Hopes challenge last week. The challenge was creative borders. I got the card finished in time, but didn't get a chance to take a picture of it and get it uploaded.

I don't have a list of the supplies that I used for this card...I kind of just did it on the run!! The brad in the right hand corner is from SU's build a brad kit. It was so easy to use....I will be using it way more often now!!

I am so lucky right now...cause I am posting this from my Mom's house and we had a stamp-a-thon last night. I now have tons of images to color...and we will be doing that later on today and tomorrow!!

Have a great day!

Biking boy and holidays....

Hello everyone,
I have a new card to show you using one of my favorite images. I very good friend of mine (you know who you are...just wanted to say thanks so much!!), gave me this stamp as a gift, and I made this card a while ago, but just haven't had a chance to post it.

I hope that posting this card means that spring is really on the way! We still have quite a bit of snow here yet, so until the snow is gone...to me it still feels like winter!!

Inks: Memento black, copic markers, prismacolor pencils and OMS, white gel pen
Paper: bazill cs, georgia pacific cs, MME Out & About
Accessories: prima flowers, glitter brad, may arts ribbon

For the rest of the week I am hoping to color some images with my Mom. I'm on holidays right now, and don't go back to work until next Monday. I'm heading home on Wednesday morning...and I can't wait. We just don't get to spend enough time together anymore!!
My husband and I just gave both of our dogs a bath...so they smell good when we go home, and we are going to be busy packing tomorrow to leave.

I have been so bad at looking at blogs these last few weeks. I'm sorry if I haven't gotten to your blog. I am taking a peek...but sometimes it just takes so long to comment....I'm hope you understand. I will try to get better again when I get back from Melville. I am hoping to get another post up before I leave, cause I've got another easter card almost done.

In case I don't get my card posted, I wish everyone a very happy easter. And I hope that you get together with family this weekend!!
Take care!!

Hoppy Easter!

I made this card for the High Hopes challenge this week. The challenge was to use buttons, and as you can see...I did!!

Inks: Memento black, SU groovy guava and close to cocoa, copic markers, prismacolor pencils and OMS
Paper: Georgia pacific cs, Co-ordinations cs, My minds eye dp
Accessories: Prima flowers, may arts ribbon, flower from dollarama, buttons
The sentiment was made using my label maker, and the scallops under the bunny are made with SU's scalloped punch. Diamond glaze was used on the flowers to make them sparkley, and I used my white gell pen for some added effect on the image.

Thanks for looking, and have a great week!!
