Another gorjuss birthday card!

I just love gorjuss girls!! They make the prettiest cards!!

Hello everyone!

It's been a while since my last post again. Just don't have as much time as I used too. My life seems to revolve around my work right now.

For this card I used a gorjuss girl as the main image. The papers are from bazill and K&Company. Swirls are cut with a die and my cuttlebug. Also prima flowers, martha stewart punched leaves and greenery. And the dew drops are from Stamping Bella.

Have a great Monday! And thanks for the awesome comments!

My first Motivet card

Meet Shy Hilda. She is one of the new images from Motivet. Isn't she cute? I think she works well with so many sayings that I will have to make another card with her soon!!

While I was on holidays, I was able to spend some stamping time with my Mom, and all of the Motivet images were so cute, that I just had to stamp a couple when she wasn't looking!! lol!!

Stamps: Motivet - shy hilda, Hero arts - all occasion, Paper: Bazill cs, georgia pacific cs, MME playful posies, Ink: Memento black, copic markers, prismacolor pencils, twinkling h2o's, SU only orange, Accessories: prima flowers, may arts ribbon, glitter brad from collection, SU silver cord. I did lots of distressing with my SU distressing tool -love that tool!!

Now, I am off to go and work in my craft room. Really would love to make a card today, but I'm not sure how long I will make it, because I got together with a great friend last night, and we had a True Blood marathon till 5 am!! It was so much fun!!

Enjoy your weekend and thanks for the great comments!!

Just because

Hello friends!

Today I have a card that I made a couple of weeks ago. I just love this image and wish I had more time to make cards sometimes!! Sure would be use to use every image that I own at least once, wouldn't it??

Sorry for being the slowest poster ever.... I wish there were more hours in a day sometimes.

I think I colored this image with copics as the base and then prismacolor pencils. I've been looking at some wonderful copic tutorials lately, but really like the depth I get with this technique, plus every image I have colored with only copics, has looked kind of scary!!

Have a wonderful weekend!! And thanks for the amazing comments. You guys are the best!!

Holidays and Thank you!

Hello again,

I just want to say thank you to all of you who have wished my friend and her husband well. It's always amazing to see how caring everyone is!!

On to another subject....I am on holidays!! I have all of this week off!! I just got back from visiting my Mom, Ila, and now I am hoping to get some cards done this week. (Just to let you guys know, I had the best intentions of posting this card earlier but forgot all about it, I actually have to go back to work tomorrow, but I did get some cards finished and am going to attempt to get some pictures taken of them today!!)

Yesterday I went down to Minot with my Mom, Dad and husband....and I picked up some amazing new paper at Joann's Fabrics! I have a Indian summer stack, rustic stack, doodle stack, crafty stack, etc. --Woo Hoo!! I can't wait to start playing with all my new papers!!

I colored this card a while ago, but it took forever to make into a card. I love looking for flower charms (bead spacers), cause I think they are soooo pretty!! I'm not sure what kind of papers these were, they were mostly scraps I found laying around that I thought I should use!!

Have a wonderful day!!
