No time!!!

Hello,
Sorry that I haven't posted in a while, I have been very busy moving!!! A matter a fact, on Christmas Day, I was taking down Christmas decorations and packing them into a big trailer. My hubbys boss lent him his trailer for moving race cars, so we thought that we better take advantage of that and move as much as possible to Estevan right away! So aside from the Christmas meals we were packing, packing, and packing.
The rest of the move will be completed next weekend!! So for now I am packing everything in boxes and setting it all by the door to be moved! Who would have ever thought that in less then 10 years, we would accumulate sooooooo much stuff!!!

I do have a new card for you. My cousin just had a baby, so I thought that I should pop a card in the mail to her in Vancouver. It's her first baby, so I bet she is a little nervous. (I know I would be!!)
I made this card with the Wild about you set from the Stampin' Up Catalogue. I love this set, it is so cute and fun and good for guys and girls! I also used a stamp from the set "looks like spring" and another favorite "seeing spots". I hope that you enjoy my card, and if you have any questions, Please ask!!

Merry Christmas!!

Hello, Hello, Hello!!!

Sorry I have been way to busy to blog lately. I have been packing my life away - or that's what it seems like anyways. I can't believe that by January 15th - I have to be out of this house!!

So between packing, baking, oh did I say eating yet, cause I am sure doing enough of that. Bet I gain 20 lbs over Christmas!!

I think I can find one of my older cards to post, just to give you something to look at. Hopefully after Christmas I will have some time to really play. I just got some new sets, and can't wait to try them out. All you demo's know which sets I am talking about. I got Shelli's newest set (our x-mas present!!) and then I pre bought 3 Sellabration sets, and I have 2 sets from the Winter Mini that I haven't even tried yet. I HAVE A HUGE NEED TO STAMP RIGHT NOW!!!!
Here is a card that I made for one of my friends. She just had a baby, and I wanted to make her a card. The stamps are all copywrite Stampin' Up! I hope she liked it.
If any of you ever have any questions about how I did any of my cards, make sure you email me. My email address is changing. You can now email me at stampin_angel@yahoo.ca.
Hope you have a Very Merry Christmas and all the best in 2007. I wish you all health and happiness!!
I will not be posting until after Christmas, so see you all then!!!

Dad's Birthday Card

Hey,

What do you think of my card for my Dad's Birthday? I think Men's birthday cards are the hardest. My Dad is not into cars, hunting, fishing or even golfing, the only sport that I know my Dad is into is carpentry. And I don't have the stamps to make a carpentry card!

So, on this card, I used the Wild About You set, and the Riveting set from Stampin' Up! The paper I used is mostly non-su, from Cosco and a Michaels pack of paper.

I wanted to let everyone know that my posts may not include any pics for a while. I will be living at my Mom & Dad's after January 15th, and may not have access to a scanner. We will just have to wait and see!!

Is everyone ready for Christmas? I have almost all my presents wrapped and bought, and am just needing to do some baking this weekend. I can't believe that there is only a week until Christmas. Pretty sure the next few weeks are going to fly by!!

We Sold it!!

Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to let you all know that we sold our house. The deal was finalized today!!!!

So, my posts will probably be more few and far between for a while, Sorry!!
I am going to be packing like MAD for the next 4 weeks, and trying to find an apartment in Melville for a couple of months and then moving to Estevan in April/May.

I will keep you updated on what happens, and make sure you check back every once in a while, because I will try to post something new.

Have a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year!

Bad Day!!!

I hope you like my new celebrate card!! I did alot of casing from some cards on Splitcoast...this card was cased from here. I love this new card, and probably will make quite a few more of this card for family and friends. I used Certainly Celery, Bordering Blue and Elegant Eggplant for the cardstock colors. I also used a glue pen to color in the fur on the sassy lady!!
In other news, it was just one of those bad days today. Work was frustrating, I haven't heard anything about my house except....that we may have a crack in the heat exchanger. So what does that mean? I think it means more dealing, if they still want the house, but I have been on pins and needles all day. The best part of my day was helping my Mom make a card for someone who is picking something up for her from Regina, and working out at the gym. Sometimes it really helps to get rid of some of the frustrations!!! :-)
Have a great day everyone, and here's hoping that tomorrow is better!!!!

Hi All!!

I have been busy finishing my Christmas shopping (we had Midnight Madness this weekend), and wrapping gifts. I am trying to get as much as possible done right now, cause I think we sold our house. Unfortunately, that means that the posting will probably WAY decrease for a while....I will have way to much packing to do....and if all goes as planned....I have only till January 15th to get out!!

So I have a couple of cards for you, they are all pretty much cased, but there are so many cards out there right now that I want to try.

My Grandma

My Grandma just celebrated her 88th Birthday. Here is the card I made for her. I stamped the flowers from the Sassy Stems set on watercolor paper.

I just decided that I LOVE watercolor paper!!! You can go over it numerous times with a wet paintbrush and it doesn't wreck the paper. Now if I had done that with any "other" paper...the paper never would have held up.

I don't know about the rest of you, but we are getting ONE BIG STORM out there!! I think it is supposed to snow for a couple of days. Oh, why can't it be spring??

And the good news, I am at least half done my Christmas Shopping!! Yay!! Unfortunately, I will have to wait till I have more money to finish. Hmmmm, which comes first, Christmas presents or more stamps??? I have a great idea!!! How about I just get everyone stamps, and they all let me hold on to the stamps for them! Sounds good to me.

My DH bought me a awesome Christmas gift on Saturday. He bought me the Cuttlebug!! I just hope now that he lets me buy dies for it...lol... Maybe once Christmas is over, when he actually lets me play with it, I will have something to show on my blog!! Wouldn't that be great!! Ok, maybe I'm the only one excited, but I can't wait!!

Another Merry Little Christmas

Good Evening!!

Here is another new card for you. It has been made using the set "A Merry Little Christmas". I like this set so much too!!

The only thing I would do differently is I stamped all the holly in the background with one of Stampin' Up!'s small background sets, but I didn't think that was enough, so I decided to color all the holly in with my blender pen and Classic Stamp pads. It took WAY too long to do!!

I'm now trying to make lots of cards for Christmas, and if I go as fast as I did for this card, then I will be lucky to have 20 cards altogether!!

Well, off to the gym. I ate a chocolate bar today, gotta go and try to burn it off!!
Catch you later!

Don't you just love this gal??

I think this has to be one of my absolute favorite Christmas Stamp sets!! Isn't it cute!! This gal is just so like me too, spending all her money on Christmas presents. I seem to go into even more debt every Christmas.

The stamps are from Stampin' Up!'s Sassy and Seasonal set. And I am not sure about the background paper. (I'm sure you understand, I bring a new paper, embelishment or stamp into my house and throw away all the packaging as quickly as possible, and then when my husband enters my stamp room and says "Wow, you sure are getting alot of stuff", I simply say, "Why Honey, I've had all this stuff for a while") Obviously, if the packaging is gone he can't prove it, can he?!!

Thanks for looking everyone!!

Open view of Card Organizer box

Hey!!

Here is the open view of my awesome card organizer box and also a new card that I made. The card is cased from Jeanne S. ,you can see her beautiful card here.

Thanks to everyone who takes a look at my blog, and thank you for leaving a message, lets me know that I am doing ok!! I still have so much to learn, but I'm pretty lucky, cause there are some great teachers out there!!

Card Organizer Box

So, I have been way too sick to do much these last few days, but I spent a few minutes working on a card organizer box that I saw here... http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=195611. This box is awesome and was so much fun to do. I used Stampin' Up! stamps, paper, etc. and (gasp!!) Autumn Leaves stamps. I think this is the first time I used a stamp that wasn't Stampin' Up! since I became a demonstrator in January.
I'm lovin' this box though!! I am leaving the inside blank for now because if I decide to give it to someone for Christmas then I can personalize it then. BUT....I may just be selfish and keep it for myself!!

Here are the cards we made at my Card Class!!

Card Class and Deer

Hello Ladies,
Sorry for not posting for a few days, unfortunatly it is going to happen again, I'm sure. I have been trying to post, but too much is happening. First of all, my DH hit a deer with our car. Our beautiful 2005 Ford Taurus (which I just let him drive recently!!!), it has OVER $10,000 damage, but they are going to fix it! YAY!!! I was afraid that if they wrote it off, I would never get a Taurus again, because the DH wants a darn truck. What good is a truck if you are trying to save money on gas so you can buy more stamps??? What's a girl to do??

So I was totally exausted for my card class on Monday, because of the truck incident which happened to be Sunday night. But it went well anyways!! I had 4 ladies attend and they each made 9 cards. 3 each of 3 different cards. I learnt one very important thing during my class, less watercoloring. Take a look above at the cards we made, I didn't think they were so bad, but it took a long time to watercolor, especially the flaky friends set. But everyone loved the cards, and the class helped to sell some Watercolor Wonder Crayons - which are wonderful!!! Ooh, I have a little tip. It was really easy for everyone to use the Watercolor Wonder Crayons, because they could all use them at the same time. They simply scribbled with some of the crayons onto palete paper, and then used a blender pen to pick up the color. It worked wonderful!!
So, I will be away this weekend, I am going to Estevan to go pick up the DH and my dog. And then on Saturday, I am going to Saskatoon. Probably won't be anything new on here till sometime next week, just so you don't keep looking!!

Chat with you later!!

Wow, I didn't think that people would actually take a look at MY blog, especially when there are some totally AWESOME ones out there!! (See some of the links on the side!!)

Thanks to everyone who takes a look at my blog, and thanks for leaving comments so I know you were there!!

So anyways, I am working on Christmas Cards again, and here is one finished. I am not sure if I like it though, so I may not use it for the class.

Thanks for looking!!

Where does the time go?

Well, I sat down today, thinking that I would make a whole bunch of cards, and I don't know what happened. I think I looked at way too many blogs, then I just had to watch Grey's Anatomy (Which was great, in case you were wondering!!) :) And now, I think want to write something on my blog, even though I should be making cards for my upcoming Christmas Card Class!
This is my newest card, totally cased from an awesome blogger. I hope if she reads this, that she doesn't mind!! The x-mas tree tag is actually stamped on the inside of the card and a window is punched out of the front. You can see the blog of the wonderful stamper that I cased this from here http://stampspaperscissors.blogspot.com/index.html
Enjoy!
